I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This cute grey squirrel lives in Bournemouth gardens in Dorset in the UK.
Unfortunately there is a lot of controversy about the grey squirrels as they aren't actually native to the UK but were introduced to Briton in the 1870s as a fashionable addition to estates. The problem is that due to various reasons they are a threat to the native red squirrel.
However, due to no fault of their own, they now live here. This little guy walked right up to me in hope of a nut!
About Pencil Paws
Animals have always been an important part of my life and I relish the challenge of trying to capture their unique personalities and characteristics on canvas. I enjoy exploring various mediums however the seemingly simple pencil is one of my favourites, even though each piece takes many hours of work. I like the way I can control the image layering to add fine detail and depth whilst adding tone and texture. Pastels were my first love and now again I will get the urge for some colour. A new area I am exploring is tinted charcoal pencils and coloured pencils with ink, am loving the detail and depth of colours these combinations can create. Art for me is a continual journey of learning, improving and developing. I am very rarely...
